How ABS works in bike ?

Image
Anti -lock breaking system                Mobility is the one of the majority in modern society.Increasing population causes the ever increase in traffic and road accident also. Road safety has became a critical ratio with uncleared traffic system. A better breaking system can safe life of many people.                Nowadays an anti-lock breaking system is used in almost all modern vehicles. This system prevents accidents like this, where you lose control of the steering as you apply the breaks. With ABS you will be able to steer the vehicle properly and it also reduces the breaking distance. Anti-lock breaking system or ABS is a safety equipment that avoids the locking up of an emergency or panic breaking. With a alarming increase in the number of  casualties in case of two wheeler accidents, the Government of India has made ABS mandatory in all new two wheeler having an engine displacement of 125 cc and above starting April 2018.

Why ambulance have different siren sounds?

Image
Doppler Effect with Ambulance Sound             Lets imagine you are walking with a little crowed road.Suddenly, you hear the distant wail of a siren of an ambulance. The siren of ambulance sounds with a high pitch and louder as it approaches towards you.And when it moves away from you the sound is less pitch. This effect of the sound is due to the Doppler Effect.              Doppler effect refers to the change in wave frequency during the relative motion between a wave source. It was discovered by Christian Johann Doppler. It works on both light and sound objects. For instant, when a sound object moves towards you, the frequency of the sound waves increases, leading to a higher pitch. Conversely, if it moves away from you ,the frequency of the sound waves decreases and the pitch comes down. The drop in pitch of ambulance sirens as they pass and the shift in red light are common examples of the Doppler effect. Other applications of Doppler effect:-  Doppler e

Why Ice floats on Water?

Image
Why ice floats on water?                          As we know solid objects are more denser than liquid objects but ice floats on water. Its amazing things in the nature. Before we know the science behind it,we have to know the word 'density'.Density is the mass divided by volume.Ice floats because it is less dense then the water.Water has a density of 1.0 gm/cubic cm.The density of ice is 0.931 gm/cubic cm.But, why is ice less dense than water  if both are made up of molecules of H2O ?              The reason of ice floats on water is because of hydrogen bond.Hydrogen bond forms between the hydrogen in a water molecule and oxygen in a different water molecule. In water the formed new bonds of molecules try to getting a stable crystal structure.By decreasing temperature of water the molecules apart from each other and increases the inter molecular space resulting the expansion.Therefor the density of ice increases compare to the water. This causes ice float on water.

How a Aircraft propulsion works?

Image
Aircraft Engine                            What is propulsion system in aircraft?     It is a machine that produces thrust or push an object forward. Thrust is usually generated through some application of newton's third law of action and reaction. A gas or working fluid is accelerated by the engine and the reaction to this acceleration produces a force on the engine. What are the most commonly used aircraft engine?             The most common reaction propulsion engines flown are turbojets, turbofans, ramjet, pulse jet, turboprop etc. Turbojets:-              The turbojet is an air breathing jet engine typically used in aircraft. It consist two main components                                                    1. Turbine                                                     2. Propelling nozzle              The compressed air from the compressor is heated by fuel in the combustion chamber and then allowed to expand through the turbine. The turbine exhaust is the

Modern Trending Electric Vehicle and its construction.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE               Electric vehicle are making big waves in the automobile world. These noise free, pollution free and high performance vehicles are expected to make their IC Engine counterparts outdated by year 2025. Electric vehicle is a vehicle that uses one or more electric motors or traction motors for pulsation. It first came into existence in the mid-19th century, when electricity was among the preferred methods for motor vehicle propulsion. Benefits and scope of EV: -   EV offers a lower operation cost compared to conventional internal combustion engines. On average EV is is 75-80% cheaper from fuel and maintenance perspective, which is an important consideration for many consumers who have high usage. The Indian government is planing for its good of making 30% of Indian vehicles electric by 2030. Instrument used:-   Mainly 4 components used.             1. Purpose built chassis
