Why hurricane spin anticlockwise direction(Coriolis effect) ?

Why hurricanes spin anti-clockwise direction ?

In the tropical region due to high intensity of sunlight high temperature and low pressure is created in the atmospheric air. This air goes to the upper region of atmosphere and empty space is created in this region. To fulfill this space cool air comes from cooled region and collides turbulently which leads to formation of  hurricanes .Hurricanes are one of the worst natural disasters on the planet. They lead to devastating casualties, and take a significant toll on properties each and every year. Counterclockwise hurricanes are tropical storms that form in the northern hemisphere .Storms in southern hemisphere like cyclone rotates clockwise. It has to do with something called the Coriolis effect. The Coriolis effect is a result of earth's rotation. The area around the equator rotates faster than the poles. This causes water and air to curve as they move north or south. In northern hemisphere air moving north curves east and air moving south curves west. This motion effects wind flow as a hurricane forms.Hurricanes grow out of central region of low air pressure. The low air pressure affects high air pressure from outside. As the outside air flows toward the center, the Coriolis effects curves it into a counterclockwise rotation in the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the southern hemisphere.

 Other applications of Coriolis effect:-

Coriolis effect also applied in the game of catch, which is playing between two people in a marry go round.
It is taken into account to complete accurately trajectories of long range projectiles and missiles.
